WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING...

Home: Testimonials

"As we entered the pandemic, I was acutely aware that our family’s situation was going to be very different from anyone else we knew. I was a mom of two kids (First Grade and Junior Kindergarten) but I was also someone that had a lifelong very serious primary immune deficiency. My doctors had made it very clear that our kids were not to return to in person schooling (turned into a 22 month process that crossed three school grades) and yet, where we lived, there was no online schooling offered at all. This is where I began to panic. My son had not yet learned how to read and I was very worried that my daughter would be left behind.

After an extensive search, we could not have been more thrilled to speak with Jessica Weil. We didn’t know it then but Jessica for the next two years would become a wonderful daily fixture in our lives. She listened to my concerns and wishes, met with my kids, connected with their school and teachers and created perfectly tailored educational plans in both English and Hebrew to support them in their learning. Within a few weeks of meeting with Jessica, my son was reading fluently and decoding words wherever he could find them.

After suffering miserably for over a year, what seemed like a terrible situation having to learn from home, opened his whole world. Jessica was our lifesaver. My daughter learned through music, games and activities that always included things that Jessica knew would engage and interest her.
As the pandemic went on, we were forced to continue to keep the kids home. It was not easy but Jessica remained the one constant that our kids could count on. She always made them her priority.
We were all nervous for the kids to return back to in person learning at school. We knew it was going to be difficult after so much time away. The one worry we didn’t have was their academics. They returned almost seamlessly and were even ahead in some areas of their schooling.

We can definitely say that the first two years of the pandemic was extremely challenging for our family but I know for a certainty that without Jessica as the kids primary educator, we would not be where we are now. She truly has a gift. Her ability to connect with her students is unmatched, even in the most difficult of circumstances. We will be forever grateful for the time we had with Jessica."
